St. Martin's Manor
The Centre provides a residence for prenatal and postnatal stays, programs for young women who live in the community; in collaboration with St. Charles Adult and Continuing Education and the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board we run an on-site Section 23 high school so our young mothers are given the opportunity to attend school while at St. Martin’s Manor. We also offer individual and family counselling, and early learning and care programs.
The residence is a welcoming, nurturing, home-like setting with the capacity for 12 mothers and babies. Young women between the ages of 13- 21 can arrive at any time during their pregnancy and stay with their babies for several months. The length of stay is dependent on individual needs.
The Get Connected program and the Youth Housing Support program provide support for pregnant and parenting young people living in the community who may need assistance making connections to community resources and securing safe housing.
Our Child Care programs provide the best start for children by nurturing, stimulating, and educating children while supporting families with programs and information.
