Making the Manor a Home

How you can help support young families at St. Martin's Manor

With funding that is limited, we rely on the support of our community members to continue to provide the variety of services required to meet the needs of young families in Hamilton. We need your support and invite you to work alongside us in any of the following ways:

  • Volunteering your time

  • Donations of needed items

  • Financial support

To be successful at St. Martin’s Manor, you need to be interested and sensitive to the needs of pregnant and parenting young women and their children.

Volunteers are carefully screened, and matched with their area of interest to ensure that your needs are met as well as ours!

The following are options for volunteering at St. Martin’s Manor:

  • Labour and delivery support

  • Manor Store assistant; organizing donations

  • Child care support in our Early Learning and Care programs

  • Tutoring in our school program

  • Special events assistant

If you have a special talent or interest, don’t hesitate to contact us.  Our volunteers are important members of our ‘extended family’, and we all have the same goal in mind; to help young parents succeed and their children thrive.

If you wish to apply to become a volunteer at St. Martin’s Manor, please contact Melanie LaBelle, via email at or by phone, 905-575-7500 ext 313.
